Document checklist
What should exist for a first review, and what can wait for controlled sharing. Do not upload sensitive files in the public form.
Often describable early
- Municipality and approximate location
- Owner or representative role
- Known detailed plan, planning opinion, or “I do not know”
- Whether any grid contact already exists
Wait for a controlled channel
- Full property extracts
- Written grid statements
- Environmental and ground studies
- Contracts and option papers
Who can provide each input
Work through the areas below. Having a document does not mean it has been reviewed or that the site is suitable. Record versions and dates in the document log so the next person can follow the evidence.
Fill in what you know. Answers stay in this open page and are lost when you leave or reload it. Copy or download the draft to keep it. Nothing is submitted to Powered Sites here.
Use a non-sensitive reference for your own working draft.
Identifies the area to review. Ask the owner or representative for a clear boundary; a map pin is not enough.
Identifies who can represent the site and which rights need checking. The owner or authorised representative provides the evidence.
Obtain current documents and version dates from the municipality. Identify the comprehensive plan, detailed development plan, planning opinion or permit.
Collect existing correspondence from the relevant grid company: which site, load, phase and milestone does it concern? Read each statement in context.
The owner and relevant providers can describe roads, access and existing services. A map does not confirm rights or capacity.
List existing studies with dates, geographic scope and commissioning party. The relevant specialist assesses what can be used and what is missing.
Collect evidence from the relevant providers. Record its source and the question it answers; distinguish a possibility from an agreed service.
Check what the commissioning party may share, with whom and for which purpose. Contracts and sensitive files wait for an agreed channel.
For each important input: document name, date, responsible role, open question and next action.

- Buyer or project team: the question, intended outcome, stages, requirements and preferences.
- Landowner or representative: control, site reference and documents permitted for sharing.
- Municipality: planning papers and the stage of the municipal process.
- Grid actor: site-specific connection information when such a dialogue exists.
- Specialist: technical, environmental or legal judgement within the agreed area.
Mark missing items as unknown instead of filling them with a guess. Sensitive files wait for an agreed controlled channel.
